Architect: E. le B Henderson . This building is based on a Spanish Mission styled church in Hollywood, California, USA.  A prominent landmark on the hill overlooking the Swan River, the design of the church represents a complete departure from ecclesiastic architecture in Western Australia at that time and is of considerable significance to the City of South Perth and the architectural history of the State.
