The Como
The Como (1939) Formerly Como Hotel, corner of Canning Highway and South Terrace, Como
Architects: Oldham, Boas and Ednie-Browne and built in the Inter War Functionalist style, it is a two story building perfectly situated on a major intersection between Como and South Perth. It has been a meeting place for the community for more than sixty years and was also used during World War Two to accommodate servicemen.
